Mallory had a very fun filled weekend. Friday night Grandma took her to go see Disney princesses on ice with Leia, Avey, and Judy (Avey’s other grandma). They had so much fun! She wanted to be a princess, so we did her hair, make-up and dressed her up in a beautiful dress. She really did look beautiful! When she got home that night she wanted to play Disney princesses on ice. So she sang, danced, pretended to ice skate, and she made me sing with her. I walked out of the room for a second and she said “mommy, get back here, you have to hold my hand or someone could take you from me.” I knew right then, my mom had a talk with her about strangers.
Saturday afternoon Mal and I went shopping for paints and canvases because I am going to attempt to paint some pictures for her room. I bought her, her own canvas and let her paint on it. She loved it! As we were painting together some pretty funny things kept coming from her mouth like: “So, how is your picture coming along? My picture is so pretty! Mom, your picture is pretty cool, I’m going to hang this in my room alright, this is so much fun!” etc. etc. She kept going on and on and on. Where did she come from? Her personality cracks me up. She was so proud of her picture! The first thing she wanted to do this morning was paint. So what did we do? Got out everything and painted away! All I have to say is move on over Uncle Jeremy, there’s a new artist in town! Does the name Mallory Laura Edmunds ring a bell?
Sunday night Avey came over to play. I can’t even explain the two of them, they are hilarious! They dressed up to go to the ball and they both had to wear sunglasses. They have so much fun together even though Mallory bosses the heck out of Avey. She seriously acts like she is way older than her.
I love my Mallory! She is my little princess. She is so kind, thoughtful, sensitive, tender hearted and beautiful. I learn from her everyday! I will never know what I did to deserve such a special little girl. She took her time getting here, but she was sure worth the wait.

She was worth the wait, seriously, she is PERFECT compared to my kids. I want one! I just hope Lucy doesn't give me trouble, I want a angel princess too - so far so good.
Mallory is a princess! Um excuse me that you don't know where she got her funny little personality from! She has one of the funniest moms I know!
Okay, you are such a GM!!! (that's good mom for all you non-abbrevers) You are so patient and loving to Mallory and that is why she is the way she is. I would NEVER think to do paints on a canvas with either of my kids. I only pull that kind of stuff out when they are in bed . . . but, I guess it's because I'm a BM (bad mom or bowel movement, which ever you choose).
Mallory is the cutest little fart I've ever seen! She is beautiful both outside and inside. I can't believe she's been here over 2 years now. It took so long to get her here, and now that she is here, ALL our lives are better. I love her sooo much and she IS a princess!!!
Mallory is a blessing. She is a little you. The pic of her standing up by her painting next to Eli- it's a mini you in a diaper. I can't wait to see who she becomes, she's too cute now.
