EASTER DAY!

Easter was extra special this year because we blessed Beau. We did it in our home, and Eli gave such an amazing blessing. He said that he had to hurry because he was so heavy. I think he is the biggest baby that has ever been blessed! He wore a 6 month outfit and it was pretty dang tight on him. Ohhhhhhhh I love him so dang much. Once in a while it really just hits me how fortunate I was to get pregnant with him. It was a miracle! Not only was he sent to me but he was sent healthy, strong, happy and beautiful. There is nothing more that I could ask for!

Right before the counselor from the bishopric was supposed to come for the blessing, Mallory fell off of my bed face first and hit the corner of the end table. She hit right by the side of her eye, we were so lucky it didn’t hit her eye. She was bleeding, screaming and shaking. We were so scared because it was a bad fall. Everything turned out okay and the day went on. I was happy that you couldn’t really see the cut in her Easter pictures. Cami wanted me to take a picture of her and put it on my blog, so I took one the day after it happened. Anyway, besides all of that drama Mallory had a really fun day! She had so much fun with her cousins looking for Easter eggs and her Easter basket! Leia was with her Dad, so she wasn’t able to come (we missed you Leia!) I am with Lindsay; the thought of a huge bunny hopping around in my home really scares the crap out of me. As soon as Mal is old enough to understand, I want to really concentrate on teaching her the true meaning of Easter! She knows a little bit about Jesus, and I guess I can only teach her a little bit at a time.

It was so much fun spending the day with my fam! Like always, I’m always sad when they have to go home. I hope that everyone had a nice Easter! Love you all

TAGGED!

Jorae has tagged me! Here are some facts about me.

Here are the rules:A: Each player list 6 facts/habits about themselves.B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and post their names, then go to their blogs and leave them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Here are the rules: A: Each player list 6 facts/habits about themselves.B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and post their names, then go to their blogs and leave them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1- I hate clutter or messes. If my house is a mess with clutter or whatever (not toys) I have anxiety until I pick it up and put it in its place.
2- Just like Jorae, I HATE losing things. I get so obsessed with trying to find it, it’s ridiculous! I.E. We have not been able to find Mallory’s Barbie phone in 3 weeks. I have looked everywhere imaginable. I am an organized person and I keep her toys organized with all of the little pieces together, so when I lose something it drives me crazy! Another example is 2 years ago we had a family dinner at my house and Mallory was wearing a white headband bow. I took it off of her and when everyone left I was cleaning up and noticed that it was missing. I stayed up until 1:00 in the morning trying to find it, but never did! I think what happened was somebody threw it away thinking it was a napkin- who knows??
3- I am obsessed with being clean. I HAVE to either take a bath or shower everyday. I am getting better with not washing my hair everyday, but it has been a struggle. I used to come home from work (Crossland Mortgage) and shower before I went out that night. I used to shower twice a day and that is including shampooing my hair twice a day! What was I thinking?? It wasn’t until I moved to Cali. That I stopped doing that.
4- I really enjoy painting (acrylic painting on canvases). When I was living in California, my first year was really hard for me being away. I thought it would be good if I got a hobby, so I decided to paint. I loved it, even though I wasn’t very good. Just recently I started painting on some canvases for Mallory’s room and it’s just fun! Jeremy- If you are reading STOP laughing right now! You are not the only artist in the family.
5- I LOVE hanging out with my Mom! It doesn’t matter what we are doing, I just love being with her. She knows me better than anyone in this whole world. We get the giggles at the same things, we are always in sync.
6- Family means everything to me! Not just my own little family, but my extended family. I have an awesome relationship with everyone in my family including my sister in laws Cindy and Mandy. We all get along and I am so thankful for that!

I hope you all want to still be my friends after reading these weird things about me! Please don’t judge me, just love me. (ha ha ha) I gotta get going to look for Mallory’s Barbie phone. HAS ANYONE SEEN IT?? Just kidding, I’m not that crazy! I am tagging Jarred, Nanci and Lindsay! I don't have that many blogging buddies so I am only tagging 3. Love you all and happy Easter!

OUR GENTLE GIANT!

My mom gave Beau the name gentle giant and it fits him just right. He is so gentle, happy, content and HUGE! I put him in a 6 month outfit today and the pants are major floods. He turned 3 months today, I can’t believe how time flies. On the other hand, it seems like I have had him forever. I am so happy that he came to our family, and WAY happy that I didn’t have to do in vitro to get him here. I love him with all my heart!

MALLORY THE PRINCESS!

Mallory had a very fun filled weekend. Friday night Grandma took her to go see Disney princesses on ice with Leia, Avey, and Judy (Avey’s other grandma). They had so much fun! She wanted to be a princess, so we did her hair, make-up and dressed her up in a beautiful dress. She really did look beautiful! When she got home that night she wanted to play Disney princesses on ice. So she sang, danced, pretended to ice skate, and she made me sing with her. I walked out of the room for a second and she said “mommy, get back here, you have to hold my hand or someone could take you from me.” I knew right then, my mom had a talk with her about strangers.

Saturday afternoon Mal and I went shopping for paints and canvases because I am going to attempt to paint some pictures for her room. I bought her, her own canvas and let her paint on it. She loved it! As we were painting together some pretty funny things kept coming from her mouth like: “So, how is your picture coming along? My picture is so pretty! Mom, your picture is pretty cool, I’m going to hang this in my room alright, this is so much fun!” etc. etc. She kept going on and on and on. Where did she come from? Her personality cracks me up. She was so proud of her picture! The first thing she wanted to do this morning was paint. So what did we do? Got out everything and painted away! All I have to say is move on over Uncle Jeremy, there’s a new artist in town! Does the name Mallory Laura Edmunds ring a bell?

Sunday night Avey came over to play. I can’t even explain the two of them, they are hilarious! They dressed up to go to the ball and they both had to wear sunglasses. They have so much fun together even though Mallory bosses the heck out of Avey. She seriously acts like she is way older than her.

I love my Mallory! She is my little princess. She is so kind, thoughtful, sensitive, tender hearted and beautiful. I learn from her everyday! I will never know what I did to deserve such a special little girl. She took her time getting here, but she was sure worth the wait.

MY FULFILLING DAY!

Okay, so I have to admit that I have been pretty inactive lately since I have had Beau. Eli didn’t have to teach today so I decided to go. To be honest, I wasn’t dying to go but I thought I better since it had been two and a half months. Anyway, I was so happy that I went and it was so fulfilling for me. The spirit was so strong and it wasn’t anything in particular, it was just the feeling that, that was the place for me to be. I don’t know what I would do without the gospel in my life, I would be lost. It gives me the guidance and direction that I need and keeps me on the right path to return home to our Father in Heaven. It re affirms to me what is important, and makes me appreciative of the amazing people that I have in my life. Thank you to all of you who have been great examples to me throughout the years. Good grief, I feel like I should say amen or something! Love you all.

FRIENDS!!!

Not a lot of people can say that they still keep in touch with they’re friends from birth, elementary, junior high, and high school! We are so lucky that to this day we still keep in touch. We have done some pretty strange and crazy things throughout the years, so I thought that it would be fun if we posted on our blogs one of our favorite funniest moments. If it’s going to embarrass someone, don’t go into full detail.

One of my favorite moments was the summer of 1994 up in Park City. It was Nanci, Jamie, Lindsay, Cami and I. The night consisted of red banjo pizza, nylons, 7-11, diarrhea, Throw- up, dry heaving and laughter that would not end all night. I purposely didn’t go into detail because I don’t want to embarrass someone in particular.

Thanks for always being the best friends, I love you guys!
